Colin has ten years’ venture capital experience and has been involved in more than sixty deals. He has floated and exited a number of businesses and the first start up business he backed in RisingStars was the Fund’s first float in 2005.
Prior to EV, Colin worked for 3i for five years across a range of deal types (rescues, start ups, growth capital, MBO and IBO) and sectors, with a final role of Senior Investment Manager across the Northern Region. Within 3i's Northern region, Colin completed the most deals for three years. He also achieved during his time at 3i the region’s highest cash value gain in both transactional and technology investments.
Before joining 3i, he completed an MBA at Warwick after working for Accenture in their systems and strategy consulting divisions. He has a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Leeds Business School.
